In short
- You keep everything you put into weacon. Ask us and we will send you a copy; delete it and it is gone.
- Free for 30 days, then a subscription. Cancel any time, no fee.
- weacon is a small, independent product. Support is genuine but not 24/7, and liability is capped at what you paid.
Who you are contracting with
weacon is a service operated by Cattaneo Lorenzo, P.IVA IT01677710194, Italy. In these terms “weacon”, “we” and “us” mean that operator; “you” means the person or organisation that opens an account. You can reach us at contact@weacon.io.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation to a workspace, or using weacon, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing for a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
The service
weacon is a hosted application that keeps a knowledge base, plans and tasks, and unstructured notes connected: notes can generate plans, and completed work can propose updates to documentation. It is provided as a subscription service, and you are licensed to use it rather than sold a copy.
We may add, change or retire features. If a change materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you by email and refund the unused part of your term if you object.
Accounts and workspaces
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your credentials to yourself and tell us if you think they have been compromised.
A workspace belongs to the organisation that created it. Its administrators can invite and remove members, change roles, see the workspace content and delete it. If your employer invited you, they control that workspace — not you. Each seat is for one person; accounts must not be shared.
Trial and payment
Every new workspace gets a 30-day free trial with no payment method required. When the trial ends, adding members and sending invitations is locked until a subscription starts; your data is not deleted.
weacon is sold on subscription: a monthly plan billed per seat, or an annual plan with unlimited seats. Current prices, included storage and AI usage are set out on the pricing page, and the total you will pay is shown at checkout before you confirm. Prices exclude VAT and any other applicable tax.
Payment is handled by Paddle, which is the merchant of record and the seller for weacon subscriptions: Paddle takes the payment, issues your invoice and handles the tax added at checkout. Your card number never reaches us. Invoices go to the billing email set in your workspace, which you should keep current.
On the monthly plan, seats are the number of accepted members in your workspace. Adding a member mid-cycle is billed pro rata; removing one takes effect at the next renewal. Overdue payments may lead to suspension after we have emailed you.
Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term and you keep access until then. There is no cancellation fee.
If something is genuinely broken and we cannot fix it, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. Consumers in the EU have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on new paid subscriptions; because the service is available immediately, that right ends once you ask us to start it. After a subscription ends, your data is kept for 30 days so you can ask for a copy, then deleted.
Your content and your data
Everything you put into weacon stays yours. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store, copy, transmit, back up and display your content, and to process it through the AI features you use. That licence ends when the content is deleted.
We do not sell your content, we do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. How personal data is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms — and where your content includes personal data about other people, that policy and these terms are the processing agreement required by Article 28 of the GDPR.
The software, design, name and logo of weacon belong to us. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.
AI features
weacon uses OpenAI's language models to read your notes and propose plans, tasks and documentation updates. Where a feature writes to your workspace it does so through a proposal that a person approves, edits or rejects, and AI features run only when a member invokes them.
AI output can be wrong, incomplete or confidently misleading. Review it before relying on it, and do not use weacon as the sole basis for decisions with legal, financial, medical or safety consequences. Fair use limits apply; if you reach them we will contact you.
Acceptable use
Don't use weacon to:
- break the law, infringe someone's rights, or store material you have no right to store;
- upload malware, or attack, probe, scrape or overload the service;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or white-label the service without written permission;
- store special categories of personal data (health, biometric, political and similar) unless we have agreed it in writing.
We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend the account involved.
Availability, warranties and liability
weacon is a small, independent product, so there is no contractual uptime guarantee and no 24/7 support desk. The service is monitored and backed up, and support is by email at contact@weacon.io, normally answered within two business days.
The service is provided as it is and as it becomes available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data beyond our backup obligations, or business interruption.
Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is capped at what you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using weacon and delete your workspace whenever you like. We may suspend or terminate an account if payment fails after notice, if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, or if we must do so by law. Except in cases of clear abuse we will warn you first. On termination your data stays retrievable for 30 days so you can ask for a copy, and is then deleted, with backups aging out within a further 60 days.
Changes, governing law and contact
Features and interface will change as we improve weacon. We will also update these terms from time to time: minor clarifications take effect when published, with the version and date at the top of this page changed accordingly, and material changes are emailed to workspace administrators 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your term.
These terms are governed by Italian law, and the courts of Milan, Italy have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings where you live, and you keep the protections of your local law. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
